It’s here! Now, when you import from Excel all your location pins and text balloons on the drawings will update automatically with any fields that have changed.
And the best part? To refresh your as-built records, just hit "Complete All" in the work package, and those individual records will update too.
What a win! 🎉

For those who love chunky Excel imports, here’s a game-changer: You can now delete values from inspections as part of the import!
If you want to remove a value from an inspection - clear it from the Excel or CSV, leave the value blank and that field will be deleted from the data.
Now, when you import, the system will automatically save a copy of the original inspection in the background if anything has changed (either edited or deleted). A nice safety net just in case.
Enjoy the new flexibility!

We’ve all been there—you’re editing an inspection in the Hub, and suddenly, you hit the back button on your mouse, close your browser, or accidentally navigate away. Frustrating, right?
Good news: we’ve got you covered!
Here’s how it works:
If you return to the same screen (whether it’s a new inspection or editing an existing one), the system will automatically restore your previous edits.
Started a new inspection but closed the tab or navigated away before saving? No problem! Simply head to the +Create button, and your work will be restored automatically.
The system will save your edits for 30 minutes. This may be extended depending on your feedback.
This new feature ensures you never lose progress, saving you time and reducing headaches.
Give it a try and let us know what you think!

We’ve made setting up a new drawing set even smoother! Now, when you create a drawing set, you’ll see a dropdown to ensure you select the correct category right from the start. This helps avoid mix-ups and forgotten steps.

We’ve improved the Organisation Home tab to give you a more accurate view of completed inspections. The counter now tracks inspections based on when they were first completed, rather than when they were marked as "complete."
Previously, it might have looked like all 200 inspections were done in a single day—when in reality, the work was spread over months. This update ensures a more accurate representation of when the inspections actually happened.
A small change, but a big improvement for tracking work.

So, if you’ve been onsite snapping hundreds (or thousands!) of photos, be sure to keep the Clarinspect app open and tap "Sync" a few times to ensure all your data gets pushed to the cloud.
Got a staff member leaving?
Getting them out of Clarinspect is a three step process:
Step 1: Complete work or cancel it and sync their device
Step 2 : Remove that account (as in their email address) from that device under Clarinspect
Step 3 : Once this is all done, you can go ahead and go the the members tab on the hub and REMOVE them
Thanks for reading and staying up to date!
As always, if you have a clever idea on how we can improve our software please let us know.
