What’s New

** New Australia Support Number **

We’ve got a new contact number for our Australian clients:

👉 +61 2 9158 3284

Please update your records and delete the old number to make sure you reach the right team without delay.

We’ve also rolled out a new phone support system—so if we miss your call, you can leave a message, and we’ll get back to you promptly. You’ll also be able to get transferred directly when needed to the best person for you.

Thanks for helping us deliver even better support!

Sequence update – Heads up, new default on hub

 Sequences Users

We’ve made a small but important change to how sequences work.

Based on how most of you use sequences — assigning a new number for each item (like in FireQA, Fire Stopping, and Construction Monitoring) — we’ve updated the default setting to:

👉 Sequences unique on work package

If you're part of a team that uses a single sequence across an entire inspection — like Asbestos or Site Inspection teams — please double-check your settings when starting a new work package to ensure the sequence behaves the way you expect.

This update is all about aligning with how most users work, while still giving you full control.

Drawing Set Filters – Small Tweak, Better Consistency

 Drawing Set  Users

We’ve made a small but helpful tweak to the Drawing Set date filters.

Date filters will now include the selected date — not just filter up to it.

This change brings the Drawing Set filters in line with how filters work in Summary Reports.

For example:

Previously, selecting “Before 1 March – 31 March” would include up to midnight on March 30.

Now, it will include March 31st as well.

This should make filtering clearer and more consistent across the platform — hope it helps!

FireQA Summary Reports – Smarter Report Names

 FireQA Users

We’ve given our FireQA Summary Reports a naming upgrade!

As the number of registers in the system has grown, we realised it was time for clearer, more intuitive titles.

You should’ve received an email with a breakdown of the old vs. new names to help you quickly find the report you’re after — like that elusive 4072 register.

This update should make your experience smoother and registers easier to locate.

iOS / Apple App Update – Action Required for Older Devices

 iOS / Apple App Users

Heads up for iOS users:

In about three months, the Clarinspect app will only be supported on devices running iOS 17 or higher.

This means some older iPhones will no longer be compatible with the app. If you're using one of the following models, you'll need to upgrade your device to continue using Clarinspect:

  • iPhone 7

  • iPhone 7 Plus

  • iPhone 6s

  • iPhone 6s Plus

  • iPhone SE (1st Gen)

These devices can't be updated beyond iOS 16 due to hardware limitations.

We can see that this only affects a small number of users, but we want to be open and clear about the change so you have time to plan ahead.

We know it’s a bit like when your smart TV stops supporting your favorite streaming app — frustrating, but necessary. This change supports the security and performance upgrades we’re rolling out behind the scenes.

Thanks for understanding, and if you have any questions or need help preparing for the update, feel free to reach out.

Top Tips

Get better support with more information

We can help you much faster if you include a few key details when you reach out:

  • Inspection number

  • Work package name

  • Assessor name - who is doing the work and has the issue

  • An image of the issue is even better

  • Phone number of the person needing help - so we can call them directly

With that info, we can jump straight into solving the issue — no back-and-forth needed.

Help us help you get sorted in a jiffy!

Top Tip for Drawing Sets - identical floors

 Drawing Set  Users

If you receive a floorplan that covers multiple identical floors (e.g. levels 3 to 20), it’s best to load the same plan into a separate Drawing Set for each floor it represents.

Why?

This makes your reporting cleaner throughout the project and protects you if one of those floors — say, Level 15 — gets revised mid-project with changes.

It’s a simple step that saves a lot of hassle later.

Drawing Set Tip – Always Unmerge Balloons Before Filtering

 Drawing Set  Users

Before applying any filters in your Drawing Set, make sure to unmerge your balloons first.

Filtering works best when you start with a clean slate — unmerged balloons ensure your filters apply correctly and everything runs smoothly.

A quick unmerge before filtering = better performance and more accurate results.
