What’s New

Search your lists on the hub

 Hub Users

You can now search dropdown lists and text field options directly in the Hub—just like you can in the app.

This means faster, easier form-filling when selecting from long lists (like issues, locations, or recommendations). No more scrolling—just start typing in the box to find what you need.

Improved multi-select experience on the hub

 Hub Users

Multi-select fields on the Hub just got a refresh!

Now, when you select an option, it appears clearly in the field—making it easier to see your selections as you go. You can continue choosing more without losing track. In addition, if you hold down the ctrl key while clicking, the drop down list to choose from stays on the screen.

It’s a small change that makes a big difference to layout and usability.

Custom branding for reports in a work package

 Hub Users

Doing work for a key client who wants their logo on the report? No problem.

You can now automatically rebrand reports in a specific work package using the client's logo. All we need to do is add an “Inspection by” question to your form so the system knows which branding to apply.

Once it's set up, it's seamless—and a game changer for delivering polished, client-specific documentation.

Just another way we're making it easy to support a variety of workflows. If you would like to give this a go just give us a call.

Want to take advantage of this new workflow? Just get in touch—we’re happy to help you get set up.

Smart pin drop now available on the hub

 Hub Users

We’ve made setting up a new drawing set even smoother! Now, when you create a drawing set, you’ll see a dropdown to ensure you select the correct category right from the start. This helps avoid mix-ups and forgotten steps.

You can now use the Smart Pin directly on the Hub when creating a new fire penetration—or any other item that supports Smart Pins.

Just create your form, enter the details, then click the Smart Pin button to set the location—just like you would in the app.

It’s a simple way to improve accuracy and speed up form creation, especially when working on detailed site plans.

FireQA Summary Reports - Smarter report names coming soon

 Hub Users

We know our clients love the wide range of registers and summary reports in FireQA—but as the list has grown, some of the names have become a bit less clear.

So we’re rolling out new, more accurate names to help you find exactly what you need, faster.

Over the next few weeks, you’ll see these updated names appear. For now, we’ll keep the old titles in brackets beside the new ones—but these will be phased out in about a month.

💡 Got an idea for a new report or a better name for an existing one? Let us know—we’re always keen to add helpful new options (with cool names, of course).

Top Tips

We all love a good shortcut—and if you’ve got a summary report open and want to print it or save it as a PDF, just hit Ctrl+P (or Cmd+P on Mac).

The print dialog will pop up, and from there you can choose to print or save as a PDF.

Pro tip:
For the best layout, set the page size to A3 and orientation to Landscape.
Some printers default to odd sizes like "Letter," so double-check your settings to make sure everything looks sharp and professional.

Sorting Filters – Ascending vs. Descending

When using filters on the Hub, you can choose how your data is sorted:

Ascending (↑) – Sorts from lowest to highest (for numbers) or A to Z (for text)

Descending (↓) – Sorts from highest to lowest (for numbers) or Z to A (for text)

💡 Use ascending when you want to see earlier dates, smaller values, or alphabetically first items.

Use descending when you want to surface the latest updates, highest values, or sort Z-A.
