This document is intended to walk you through how to install the Clarinspect App on your iOS device, login and view your work.
The system is composed of an App on your iOS device, and the Clarinspect Hub (a website) which coordinates the synchronisation of data and the dispatch of work.
In order to install the App you will need:
Step 1: Install the App from the App Store on your device

Click on ‘App store’

Type ‘Clarinspect’ in the search bar and click ‘Get’

Open the Clarinspect App
| 
Sign in using the credentials you used when registering.

Step 2: App Settings
For Clarinspect to have access to photos from your device please ensure this feature is enabled.
Under Settings find ‘Clarinspect’:

Enable photos here by ticking ‘All Photos’.

Step 3: This is a useful app to install from the App Store (allows us to remote access into your device if you need support)
Splashtop SOS - Remote Support
Made by Splashtop.
Allows remote support over the internet.
Go to sos.splashtop.com, or look in the Apple Store.

Step 4: Start working
Open the App
Open the App using the same log in details you created when you registered with Clarinspect. (see above)
Sync your device

Once you are signed in, tap on the three bar menu at the top left to open the menu. Tap ‘Sync’ and keep your phone screen live (e.g. screen lock set to ‘Never’) to allow the sync to work fully. ‘Sync’ will also synchronise any work you have completed on your device back to the hub. | Work Package view

This is a list of all Work Packages that you are assigned to. Tap a Work Package to view or add an inspection.
| Inspection View

This is the list of all inspections that are on the device. You can search by title using the search bar. Tap the individual inspection to open.

Step 5: Completing and Syncing an inspection
Complete Inspection
When you have completed the inspection, press the ‘Complete’ button at the bottom of the form, or the tick at the top. This will check all mandatory fields have been entered, and then queue the inspection for syncing back to the Hub. | Return to Hub
If you want to edit it on the Hub, then you can choose 'Return to Hub' to send it back without being completed. Please read our “Returning Work to Hub” user guide for more information.

Sync Rules
Inspections that are complete or 'Return to Hub' cannot be edited whilst they are syncing.
Items syncing have a sync icon.
Work that has been queued for syncing will wait until a network is available (wifi, or mobile data)
Leave the app open when you are syncing.

Top Tips
Never add an emoji as part of your data!
! on the form represents a mandatory field
Complete an inspection using the button at the end of the form, or the tick at the top.
When you have filled in all the fields, tap the ‘Complete’ button at the bottom of the form. This will validate the form, and if all mandatory fields are filled in, the inspection will be marked as completed.
Once a completed inspection is received at the Hub, a report will be created.
4. Tap the top title in an inspection for easy ‘Jump to’ specific sections in your inspection
5. Magnifying glass on any lists… and you can search within that list.
6. Can’t complete your inspection due to a missing mandatory field…tap the red exclamation mark (see image) to see where it is.
7. When Dropping a pin on floor plan (Smart Pin)
Select your floor plan
Double tap to zoom all the way in on your floor plan and tap the ‘Smart Pin’ icon.

Troubleshooting
Sync the iOS App. Not all images come through and the sync looks like it has stalled and frozen.
This sounds like the background sync process has derailed.
