As an Admin or a Work Package Manager you have the ability to create and assign work for field staff. You can do this in the Clarinspect Hub. Users and assessors can create their own inspections in the hub or in the app.
Unneeded inspections can be archived or cancelled to keep your Work Packages organised and up to date.
NB: A record of all work is retained on the system, so it can be restored at a later date if needed. To find it, use the Lifecycle status filter, and search for Archived or Cancelled work.
Anyone with permissions to access an inspection can archive it
Only finished inspections can be archived
If an inspection is already archived it won’t be archived again

Inspections must be in an archived state to be unarchived
Anyone with permissions to access an inspection can unarchive it
Inspections must be live and either draft or active to be cancelled
Inspections on device can be cancelled but this should only be done as a last resort (eg someone has left the country with their device)
Inspections in a cancelled state can be uncancelled
Inspections can be cancelled via the Hub or the App.
If you want to cancel an inspection on the app, first open the inspection. Then tap the 3 dots at the top, and select ‘Cancel’. You will see a warning message pop up. Click ‘Yes, Continue’ to cancel the inspection.
On iOS you can cancel an inspection from the Inspections list. Tap the 3 dots beside the inspection you want to cancel. Select ‘Cancel Inspection’. You will see a warning message pop up. Then click ‘Cancel’.
Tick to select the inspection(s) you wish to cancel. Click ‘Cancel’.
If you make a mistake, and need to uncancel an inspection, don’t panic! You can reverse the process. Simply use the filters on the right hand side of the hub. Select ‘Cancelled’ under Lifecycle Status, then Apply. You will see a list of all Cancelled inspections. You then tick the desired inspection, and click ‘Uncancel’.
Archiving can only be done from the hub, and only Finished inspections can be archived. Tick to select the inspection(s) you wish to archive. Click ‘Archive’.
To Unarchive, find the inspection, using the filters (Lifecycle status = Archived).
