In the Clarinspect Hub you have the ability to create and assign work for field staff. This document will guide you through the process of sending work from the Hub to App users.
While staff have the ability to create their own new inspections on the app, you can save time on site by pre-loading known inspection data in the Hub before activating and sending it out to staff.
Fill in as much detail as you want to. See this guide for more information on creating inspections - Inspections on the Hub
Draft inspections can not be sent to the App. You must Activate inspections before they can be sent to the work pool. You can do this from inside each individual inspection, or from the inspection list.
To activate, tick inspection(s), then click the blue ‘Activate Inspection’ button. Status will then change from Draft to Active.
If you have filtered the inspection list by status to find draft inspections, there is an Activate all action which you can use to activate them in bulk.
See Actions on all Filtered Items for more information.
You may wish to assign inspections to specific staff members. This can be done from inside an individual inspection as shown above, or from the inspection list. To do this, tick the inspection, and choose the staff member from the drop down list shown below. Then tap Assign.
In the following example, there are four active inspections available to be used on the App. Two of them are assigned to specific staff, and the other two are available to anyone on the work package.
Active inspections can be found on the Clarinspect App within their appropriate Work Package. If inspections have been assigned to a person, they will only be available to that Assignee. If left unassigned, they will be available for any team member with access to that Work Package to access.
Within the a Work Package, you will find the inspections that have been assigned to you in the ‘Active’ tab.
Work that has not been individually assigned, but is in the available work pool can be found in the ‘Available’ tab. These must be downloaded to your device before they can be used.
Once downloaded, the work will be found in the list of Active inspections, as shown below.
This is now ready to edit/complete on your device.
Within the Work Package, you will find the inspections that have been assigned to you in the ‘My Work’ tab.
NOTE: Remember to tap column for Active/On Device work. (In the android settings you may choose a two column or three column view. The difference is shown below.)
