Inspections on the Hub

Inspections on the Hub

In Clarinspect you can manage all of your team's inspections in the web console, the Clarinspect Hub. This document will guide you on how to create a new inspection, edit an inspection and introduce you to the fields and symbols on the hub so you can understand the status of your inspections and their reports.

Inspections are held within Work Packages. When you open a work package it takes you to the “All Inspections” tab, where you can see the list of current inspections with their current status. This is the place in the Hub where you can create new inspections.

Create a new inspection:

Each work package may hold one or more inspection type. Click on the Green “+ Create” button to see choices of inspections available to create. Then click on the inspection name to create.

Note: if your work package has multiple inspection types available, they will be shown on the drop down list.

Inside an inspection:

At the top of each inspection you’ll find the Save and Assign to options. When you finish working on an inspection, return to the top of the page to save and exit.

Note: if you are Completing the inspection, all mandatory fields must be completed before you can “Save and Complete”.

Editing an existing inspection:

When you click on an existing inspection name, it opens in a read-only format. To edit the inspection, click Edit.

Inspection fields

These are the type of fields you may see in your inspection and what they mean.

Other things you may notice:

When opening an existing inspection you may see associated reports, photos, history and linked inspections located above the Save / Assign section.

Blue text indicates a link to another document or inspection.

If your inspection is linked with another, you will see a blue text link to that other inspection. This is found above the Save / Assign section.
