Using Documents in the App

Using Documents in the App

Clarinspect's Documents feature gives your team access to important supporting documents right inside the app - wherever they're working. Whether it's Health & Safety documents, ITPs, or step-by-step instructions, your team no longer needs to dig through emails, shared drives, or paper copies on site.

Clarinspect keeps track of these documents for you so that they are accessible when you need them. A Document may be in downloadable format (pdf, jpg or docx), or could be a web link.

If you are going to be offline, download the documents before you leave the office. They will be saved to your device, and then you can open them from the app when needed.

If you will have mobile access on site, you can download as and when required. Just click on the link to download the document, then click again to open it.

Where to find them?

After you tap on a Work Package in the app, tap Overview along the bottom menu.

This page consists of Details and Documents.

Details include any Work Package Notes left for the user and any common Work Package Data that has been entered. E.g. Project Name, Address, Project Ref number etc. On Android, this can be shown or hidden using the arrow icon beside it.

The list of documents or links associated with this work package is then listed under the heading Documents.
