Using SmartFills on the Hub

Using SmartFills on the Hub

Overview

SmartFills are a way of pre-setting a set of fields on the inspection / installation record. Initially there may only be a few types of SmartFill available, and as you need different ranges of fields we can add further types.

SmartFills are set up specific to each Work Package.

A SmartFill can be created in the Hub by Administrators and Work Package Managers.  See the guide ‘Setting up SmartFills’ for more information.

Using SmartFills on the Hub

There are two ways SmartFills can be applied to an inspection on the hub.

  1. Through the inspection itself

  2. Through the site plans page

Adding a SmartFill via inspection

When making a new inspection, click on the green ‘apply SmartFill’ button. Choose which SmartFill you want to apply. Once selected, the SmartFill will automatically be applied to the inspection.

You can also add a SmartFill to an existing inspection. To do this, go into the inspection and click ‘edit’. Then click on add SmartFill

If you hover your mouse over the SmartFill in the drop down you get a pop-up that gives more detail. Once you’ve selected your SmartFill, it will be automatically applied.

Using SmartFills via siteplans

Click on the ‘site plans’ tab on the main navigation, then click the toggle for 'Add to Drawing'

Add a Penetration Reference, then choose a SmartFill from the list.
