Work Package Filters

When you are looking at your Work Package view, you can use the filters on the right hand side to narrow down the amount of Work Packages you are looking at.

Any images displayed are representative only and may differ depending on the version being used.

  1. These can be filtered by:
Assigned user - this will show you all Work Packages that a certain user can access
Assigned manager - this will show all Work Packages that have a certain Work Package Manager
Status - change this for viewing ‘draft’ ‘archived’ or ‘active’ Work Packages
Solution - this will show you all Work Packages of a certain inspection type

You can also filter directly by typing the name (or part of the name) of a Work Package into the top bar.

  2. These can be sorted.
This changes  the way Work Packages are displayed, whether ordered by:
    - Label / Date created / Date last updated
    - Ascending / Descending

Inspection Filters

When looking at a Work Package, in 'All Inspections' you can filter the inspections shown using the filters on the lefthand side.

  1. Filters - By changing these and clicking on Apply you can work with a chosen  set of inspections.

  2. Search inspection - type part of your inspection title here and find it quicky

  3. Bulk Operation - once you have filtered to the inspections that you would like to see, you can perform an action to all items shown on the screen. More information on performing bulk actions can be found here.

Depending on your inspection type, there may be additional filters shown.

  1. Choose work assigned to specific staff

  2. Filter through specific site / floor plans

  3. Filter to those under review

  4. Work in Draft, Finished etc

  5. Live, Cancelled or Archived?

  6. Inspection on Hub or app

  7. Work over a period of time

  8. Options to sort the list

Summary Report Filters

When you are viewing Summary Reports you can trim down the inspections showing in the report by using the filters. These are found on the right hand side of the page. The filter options are the same as on the inspection list (above).

  1. Find Summary Reports here

  2. Filters can be found here

  3. Apply filters

Filter choices

Setting different fields - AND

If you choose two different filters to use, this will be AND. So the choices below will return all inspections that are "Floor 2" AND are assigned to "Mark Fire"

Multiple choices - OR

If you choose more than one value for a single filter, this will be OR. So the choices below will return all inspections that are "Floor 2" OR ‘Floor 4’ AND are assigned to "Mark Fire"

Review States Filter

Because Inspections in review can be Live or Archived, if you use the review filter it will automatically set the lifecycle status to ensure a complete return for that review state. If you choose to see All Passed, then the Status filter will also be set to FInished, as in order to Pass the inspection must also be Finished.

Solution Filters

Some of the inspection types in Clarinspect are solutions, with data analysis, automated colouring of drawing location pins (text balloons), summary reports and other enhanced features. The FireQA product set consists of many such solutions.

In a Work Package, if there is a single solution, or you have filtered to one inspection type that is part of a solution, then you will see the solution filters.

  1. Choose inspections by floorplan they are marked on

  2. Type of inspection

  3. Data filters

Solution filters work the same as basic ones for AND as well as OR. The solution filters differ by the type of work they are for and can be easily extended - so if there is a field missing, ask Clarinspect support about getting it added if it is useful.

Filters on Site Plans

The filters available on the Site Planstab are extended if you have a solution on the Work Package.

Top Tip : Set ‘Merge balloons within’ to 0 before applying filters.

This is found on the right hand side under Drawing Settings.

The annotations will appear more swiftly if the merging is turned off.

  1. Set to zero

  1. Choose to display inspections for a solution

  2. Solution classification filters

  3. Search by part of the inspection name

  4. Inspection state

As all data is loaded into the Drawing when you view it, the filters here act immediately.

The Drawing displays all annotations for all work, whether Live or Archived. It does not show Cancelled work.

Colours based on Inspection Classification

The Classifications for solutions also have a colour scheme. These are available under the Drawing Settings.

For example, going from all green text balloons, to colouring by installation type.
