Exporting Data from the Hub

Exporting Data from the Hub

Any images displayed are representative only and may differ depending on the version being used.

This brief guide is to step you through exporting data out of the hub.

You can export your data as a .zip file with all photos and data, or as a .xlsx Excel file.

Find your data

Log onto the hub (hub.clarinspect.com).

In the Hub go to the Work Package with the inspections you would like to extract the data from.

Note: If you are exporting data so that you can edit and re-import, inspections must be:

  • Live and either draft or finished

OR

  • Active and unassigned.

Export your data

Using Filters

NOTE: Only Work Package Managers and Org Admins are able to use this function.

You can use the filters column on the right hand side to filter down to the inspections you would like to export, press apply, and then Choose action “Export all…”

For more information on using the filters please read this user guide.

NOTE: You do not need to also use the check boxes when you are exporting using the filters.

Using the Check Boxes

You can select specific inspections by ticking them, and then use the buttons along the top, or the More... button to choose ‘Export selected as Spreadsheet (.xlsx)’.

If you have selected inspections using the tick box to the left, do not use the ‘actions on all filtered items’ as this will complete the chosen action on all items in the inspection list, not just the ticked ones.

Tap ‘More …’ and then choose ‘Export selected as Spreadsheet (.xlsx)’.

Data Output

The link to the exported data will appear here:

This is what the output will look like:

Note: The excel spreadsheet will have different ‘Work Sheets’ available. These represent the different subforms from the inspection, and will hold the data from each item added to these. You can not edit these.

If you are wanting to Bulk Edit your data to reimport, please read the Bulk Editing Through Importing user guide.
