When adding a member to your organisation, you must assign them a role. The role dictates what they can or cannot do in the Clarinspect system. See the table below to see the comparison in functionality for each role.
Usually for field staff who use the app to do work and do not use the hub very often.
Can do work that is assigned to them. Can select unassigned work to do, and can un-assign work from themselves. Can export and report on all work in their Work Package.
This role is for field staff who do work in the field but also use the hub to get reports and pick up work.
Can do all that the Assessor can.
Can manage their own work - duplicate a Work Package, activate and complete a Work Package. Can load new work, can archive their own work and that of others. Can edit the Work Package data, but not the assignment or template.
Usually an admin person in the office or a manager. Someone who will manage the Clarinspect system for your organisation. They have an overview of all work and can edit and access everything. They will become a bit of an expert in all things Clarinspect and will be the first point of call if a team member needs help with Clarinspect.
Can do all that the User can, and can also change the role of organisation members. Can assign and re-assign between assessors. Can create an entirely new Work Package, and can fully edit existing Work Packages.
Good for Engineers, Contract managers, or Councils, who like to see how work is progressing and to check on the work, but cannot edit anything. View only.
A Monitor is someone who can view all work in progress within a specific Work Package. They can view the details and access finalised reports for that piece of work. They can not edit any details.
A Work Package manager is an operator of the Hub who has been granted elevated permissions within a Work Package.
This enables Administration type tasks to be delegated within the confines of a Work Package. This assignment as a Work Package Manager works in tandem with the overall privileges this person has from their general organisation role. Note: Admins do not need to be added as Work Package Managers.
