Copying Inspections in the App

Any images displayed are representative only and may differ depending on the version being used.

Within Clarinspect you can copy inspections from within your app. When you copy an inspection, all of the data transfers across, except any photos.

The sequence for the inspection or observation reference will automatically go to the next available number.

Floor plans will be retained but not pins.

You can either copy a completed inspection, or an active inspection. 

To copy an active or finished inspection on Android:

From the ‘My Work’ menu

Choose the inspection you’d like to copy from either the ‘Active’, ‘To Send’ or ‘Sent to Hub’ tabs. 

Go into the inspection and tap the 3 dot menu at the top right corner

Press ‘Copy’

The options you see in the 3 dot menu will vary depending on which work queue you are in.

To copy an active inspection on iOS:

Go to your ‘Active’ queue

Tap the 3 dot menu to the side of the inspection you’d like to copy

Press ’Copy’

To copy a completed inspection on iOS:

Go to your ‘Finished’ queue

Tap the 3 dot menu to the side of the inspection you’d like to copy

Press ’Copy’

Completed work will be sent back to the hub but will also remain available for copying from the ‘Finished’ menu for 7 days.
