Using SmartFills on the App

Using SmartFills on the App

Overview

SmartFills are a way of pre-setting a set of fields on the inspection / installation record. Initially there may only be a few types of SmartFill available, and as you need different ranges of fields we can add further types.

SmartFills are set up specific to each Work Package.

A SmartFill can be created in the Hub by Administrators and Work Package Managers.  See the guide ‘Setting up SmartFills’ for more information.

Using SmartFills

SmartFills allow you to create reusable penetration profiles that automatically fill multiple fields in the app. This saves time and helps ensure consistent data entry across teams.

Using SmartFills on the App

Adding SmartFills in an Inspection on Android

To add a SmartFill in an inspection, firstly tap the ‘+’ to create a new inspection from the inspection list.

Choose the SmartFill that you want applied.

If you have an existing inspection you would like to apply a Smartfill too,  tap on the three dots in the upper right corner. Tap ‘Apply SmartFill’.

Note:

More than one SmartFill can be applied to an inspection if they are from different sets of fields.

If they are from the same set of fields, the SmartFill most recently applied will override the previous SmartFill.

Adding SmartFills From the Site Plan on Android

To add a SmartFill from Site Plan, tap the Site Plan button, zoom into the Site Plan so that the ‘+’ comes up, then tap on the ‘+’.

The SmartFill list works the same as adding it via inspection list from here.

You can use the search bar to find SmartFills. For example, you can search ‘Concrete’ and each SmartFill that has ‘Concrete’ in its label/ Description will be highlighted yellow.
