Select Work from the Hub

Select Work from the Hub

With Clarinspect you can search for available work from the App.

Available work consists of active & unassigned inspections and inspections which have been finished.

You can choose from this list and then download it onto your device.  This will assign it to you and make it unavailable to anyone else.

NOTE: Inspections need to be ‘Active’ and ‘Unassigned’ in the hub, or previously finished before you will see them in the ‘Available’ list.

Selecting new work from the Hub

Android

At the bottom of the Work Package, tap ‘Available’ to get started.

The Available work tab will open and fetch the list of Available inspections from the hub.  After a moment or two it will display the results.  Any inspections which are available will be listed.

Adjust the filters to help locate the inspections you wish to fetch

Tap the inspections to select the ones you want to download.

Tap the Download button when you are ready to download the inspections.

The App will contact the hub to Activate and Assign the selected inspections to you.  Once this has happened, a dialogue will be shown with the results of the Assignment action.

Any that could not be assigned or Activated are listed.  A Download Only sync is then started in the background.

Close the dialog and wait for the sync to download them.  Opening the device notifications will tell you when this has happened.

NOTE: You may notice that the list of inspections on the Work Package has not updated or has been partially updated after returning to it.  The list will update once the inspections are all downloaded.

iOS

Go to the ‘Work Pool’ menu, found at the bottom of the screen once you are in a Work Package.

You can toggle between Available and Finished, or select both.

Use the search bar at the top if you know the listing name of the item you are looking for.

Select the inspection/s you want to have on your device and download by pressing the tick in the bottom right.

Once you have selected the inspections you want and tap the download tick, they then appear in ‘My Work’.

Fetching Finished Work from the Hub

You are able to fetch previously finished work when working from the Site Plan view. This can be fetched regardless of who has completed the work, it just needs to be in a finished state.

The steps for iOS and Android are the same;

  1. Go onto the Site Plan tab

  2. Tap a finished pin (it doesn’t matter who has finished it)

  3. Tap the ‘Fetch’ button

The fetched work will appear in your ‘My Work’ tab as a draft
