Signing in on the App - Android

  1.  Sign in to the App

The app will then take you to the sign in page.

You can either sign in with your email and existing password, or change your password if you have forgotten it

  1.  Authorise

Once you have signed in with your email and password, you’ll need to authorise the app to use the hub.

Please note: For devices with multiple users it is important to check that you are authorising yourself, and not another user. If the name / email address is not yours, tap “Sign in as someone else”.

If you try to authorise without the correct name/email, you will get the following error message:

Once you authorise correctly, you will be logged in. Just sync the app and you’re good to go!

Logging in on a Shared Device

If you are sharing a device with more than one Clarinspect user, the first time someone logs in they will follow the original Sign In process.

Any other users will tap ‘add user’ and follow the prompts.

Depending on your browser settings you will either be directed to the Sign in, or the Authorise page.

As outlined in the Authorising section of this guide, it is important to check that your name and email are a match, and if not, to click ‘Sign in as someone else’..

Forgot Password?

Tap ‘Forgot Password’ and enter your email address.

Open your email and tap the ‘Change my password’ link.

The link will take you to the Clarinspect app ‘Change your password’ page. Type in the new password you want to use, then type in again to confirm.

Once you type in your new password, you’ll be taken back to the login screen. Sign in with your new password as above

Cannot Connect to Clarinspect Hub?

If you have not authorised your device you will see the following.

Please tap on the red bar and follow the steps to sign in and/or authorise as yourself.
